TAU offers the Nursing programs that make the students aware of prevention of illness and injury through the diagnosis and treatment of human response. The program is completely online and facilitates a perfect balance of self-growth as well as the welfare of the society. The theory part of the program would be pursued online and the clinical part will be pursued in the currently working hospital, if required.
The programs offered in the School of Nursing include the RN to BSN (Registered Nursing to Bachelor of Science in Nursing), RN to MSN (Registered Nursing to Master of Science in Nursing) and BSN to MSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing to Master of Science in Nursing) and PhD in Nursing.
Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health. It includes the prevention of illness and injury through the diagnosis and treatment of human response. Nurses are amazing individuals who engage in advocating care of individuals, families, communities, and populations.
The students who cannot afford the program duration of RN to MSN of three years can opt for the RN to BSN where they can earn a Bachelor Degree instead of the Master degree. This program is also to provide platform to the students from non-science background as well. It would also provide a better opportunity for the students to enhance their knowledge towards various skills to their career. The theory part of the program would be pursued online and the clinical part will be pursued in the currently working hospital, if required.
Some of the specializations for the Master of Nursing include Diabetes Nursing, Gerontology Nursing, Nurse Educator & Nursing Leadership and Administration. The program extends its specializations t serve the society. The curriculum and subjects under these specialties will enrich the student knowledge to become the student into a “Best service provider in the world”.
The main feature of the program is to gain knowledge and competencies through blended learning in an appropriate interplay of course material, clinical work and research.
Research work in nursing will guide the nurses to identify the innovative techniques in handling patients, nursing administration and related nursing skills. Student /Researcher may provide recommendations based on the generic data and comment for better service related to the identified issues.
