Texila American University recently hosted an Annual Cultural Evening on December 22nd, 2013 at the National Cultural Centre, Georgetown, Guyana. Students of Texila hailing from 35 countries celebrated and enjoyed their differences that diversity has created for students, faculty, and staff.
The cultural evening showcased a wide range of cultural performances including a classical and traditional dance, music, skit, mime, pageant show, etc. representing the traditions.
Pro-Chancellor of the University of Guyana, Dr. Prem Misir was the guest speaker and awarded the students who have proved their excellence in academics, sports, and cultural events.
